As a Teaching Assistant at Hunter College, I support the undergraduate courses in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry, by preparing and delivering lectures, grading assignments, and mentoring students. I enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge for the field, and helping students overcome their academic challenges and achieve their learning goals.
I am also a PhD candidate in Molecular Biology at Hunter College, conducting research on the regulation of cell cycle progression and DNA damage response in human cells, using confocal microscopy and other advanced techniques. I have a diverse research background, having worked in plant, yeast, and human cell labs, and have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals. I am motivated by the curiosity and creativity that drive scientific discovery, and aspire to contribute to the advancement of biomedical knowledge and innovation.
